Three weeks after winger Samuel Edoho and defensive midfielder Benjamin Victor both picked up knocks leading to thigh and ankle injuries respectively in the friendly game against Abia Comets in Umuahia last month, both players have since returned to training and are fully fit.

Their return is good news to the team who are ready to unleash their potentials on the pitch of play in anticipation of the league resumption.

Daniel Victor, not fully fit is still recuperating from the ankle injury he sustained in training last weekend. Though the attacking midfielder is back in training, Our medics say it will take another one week for the midfielder to attain 100 percent fitness.

Speaking to Vandrezzer Media, Coach Rafael Everton expressed excitement to be back with the boys and said he is “satisfied with the fitness and composure of the boys during Saturday’s training”.

A host of friendly games are expected to be announced during the week, as we continue to await the resumption of the Nigeria National League this year.
