Today, our country witnesses another defining moment in the history of the men’s national football team of Nigeria, three-time African Champions - Super Eagles, as they prepare to prosecute the first leg of a two-legged Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi from 20:30 GMT + 1.

Incidentally, this is a day when Vandrezzer FC, the Champions of Lagos and the Pride of the Nigerian League, are also billed to take on visiting Ibom Youth in a Nigeria National League Matchday 8 encounter to be played behind the closed doors of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos from 16:00 GMT + 1.

Indeed, it is a time when we need the support of our fans, just as the Super Eagles need all the support of Nigerians home and abroad.

To this end, the President, management, players and all staff of Vandrezzer Football Club wish our darling Super Eagles success in the 2022 World Cup play-offs against the Black Stars of Ghana over the two legs, and we affirm our full support towards the quest to make it to a 7th World Cup participation, under the able guidance of Augustine ‘Cerezo’ Eguavoen, a good tactician and a friend of the VFC family.

Football is a unifying factor across the globe, and a place at the global fiesta will be a soothing reward for a football-loving country like Nigeria. And as a proudly Nigerian brand, our prayer is that the expected victory will also form a boost for renewed interest in the development of our local league , which is the bedrock of any national football team.

And so, we look towards double celebration today - the Lions of Naija overcoming Ibom Youth; just before the Super Eagles humble Ghana in Kumasi!

C’mon Super Eagles, let’s get this victory together!

Vandrezzer FC...Victorious Together!
