EVERYDAY SHOULD BE “NO TOBACCO DAY”

Today, May 31, 2022 is marked worldwide as No Tobacco Day.

A day to raise awareness of the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use, consumed by humans through cigarette smoking.

Cigarette smoking is threatening to the people who smoke, the environment, and the beings around them - it is indeed “Poisoning Our Planet.”

Smoking causes cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung diseases, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Smoking also increases risk for tuberculosis, certain eye diseases, and problems of the immune system, including rheumatoid arthritis.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), eight million people die from cigarette smoking every year.

So why don’t we just make everyday “NO TOBACCO DAY”!

We care.
