Vandrezzer FC attacking midfield sensation Daniel Victor has been ruled out for two weeks with injury.

The strong, dedicated & great ball passer twisted his left ankle during yesterday’s session at the team’s training ground in Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom State.

According to team medics, the former Akwa United and Dolphins FC star will need about two weeks to receive needed medical attention and supervision to get back to full fitness, hopefully in time for the league resumption.

Meanwhile, the Lions are set to put together a feeder team from a series of screening exercises in six designated centres across the country (Uyo, Enugu, Ijebu-Ode, Gombe, Kano and the FCT).

According to VFC’s media director, George Essien “the screening is open strictly for players between the ages of 14-20 years. Dates will be announced shortly”

Vandrezzer FC is fourth in Group B2 of the Southern Conference with six points from four matches, having three outstanding games as at Week 6 when the league went on break.

The league resumption date is still unknown to all participating teams.
