VFC acting head coach Alfred Madaki has declared the team's readiness as he leads his charges out for Saturday's game against Osun United.

According to Madaki, everywhere is like a home ground for VFC as they've picked away points against Delta Force and Nnewi United.

"The way VFC is playing, we believe everywhere is home as we play with focus," Coach Alfred told VFC media after Friday's training session at the Osogbo Township Stadium.

"The boys are in top spirit as they came here prepared. We are looking forward to a good game and I believe the boys are going to give their best to secure victory."

For captain Christopher Lolo, he and his teammates are in Osogbo for a fight:

"we are here to do what we know how to do best, which is remain undefeated. And with what the coaches have shown us these past days, I think we should be celebrating our first away win. After away draws, I'm sure we can win here on Saturday.

"I urge our fans to pray for us and keep supporting us. This season is certainly a tough one, but as the Lions that we are, we shall achieve our objectives."

The team will be without experienced goalkeeper Edwin Nwakamma for this game as the former Kwara United shot-stopper is suspended - due to the accumulation of three yellow cards in as many games.

Osun United who are third on the the log with five points, same as VFC, are going into the game in the back of an away win over Stationary Stores of Lagos, after two previous draws.

VFC's last game ended in a one all draw against Nnewi United at Rojenny Stadium, Oba, about a week ago.

Saturday's match at the Osogbo Township Stadium is the first meeting between the two sides.

The game which kicks off by 4pm will be LIVE on VFC TV via the Vandrezzer FC mobile application.
