MATCH PREVIEW - VFC vs Dynamite Force

Vandrezzer FC play Dynamite Force of Iyahmo (Edo State) in our last first round match of the NNL 20/21 season.

Form

VFC have a 100% home record this season, 4 wins in 4 home games so far and will build on that success as they file out today against another private-owned side, Dynamite Force.

With 14 points from 9 games, the Lions sit in second position in Group B1, with one outstanding game against Go Round FC.

Dynamite Force on the other hand are one point behind the Lions (13 points) and are placed 6th on the log.

The visitors have an unimpressive record away from home, losing all 4 matches on the road excluding an outstanding game against Delta Force.

Head to Head

It is the first time VFC and Dynamite Force will trade tackles in either a competitive or friendly game.

Team News

The Lions are ready to roar having lost the Super Sunday clash (0-2) to 3SC in Ijebu Ode last weekend.

VFC played a better part of that game with 10 men, after goalkeeper Emeka Nwakamma was sent off, meaning the shot-stopper misses today's match due to suspension.

VFC will also be without David Mark as the impressive full back is suspended following accumulated yellow cards (against Delta Force, Stores FC and 3SC).

Nwakamma's absence makes room for the return of goalkeeper Segun Alabi who's in line for a start today. Daniel Emmanuel who came in for Nwakamma against 3SC for his first VFC cap, also makes the squad.

Midfielder Michael Nelson is back for selection for this third competitive appearance this season after a bout of illness ruled him out for a while. Brazilian Ivo JĂºnior will also be looking to feature today after being named in Coach Alfred Madaki's squad for today's game.

Godwin Ekpo and Ekerette Udom will make it 10/10 starts for the Lions should they make the starting XI, thus becoming the only two players yet to miss a game so far this season.

Players to Watch

Amos Okoro and Ekerette Udom having respectively won the Goal and Player of the month awards for March will once again rep the Lions at home with high expectation and hopeful performances.

Broadcast

Fans won't be allowed into the stadium for the game but can follow the broadcast on VFCTV via the VFC mobile app which is available on Play Store and iOS.
