The Nigerian National League has announced postponement of the Matchday 20 clash between Vandrezzer FC and visiting Gateway United of Abeokuta.

This follows a message to clubs by the league body’s Chief Operating Officer Emmanuel Adesanya which  stated the shift of all NNL matches slated for Wednesday, July 13, due to late arrival of referees.

“We humbly regret to inform you that our mid-week matches have been shifted to hold Thursday 14th July, 2022 by 9am. This is due to envisaged late arrival of match officials to match venues. We humbly regret all inconveniences this shift in date may cause you” the message stated.

This is the second postment of the Matchday 20 fixture against Gateway, after it was first scheduled to hold on Friday July 1, 2022.

Consequently, VFC have applied and have been granted the permission for the match versus Gateway to be played by 08:00 on Thursday.

We regret inconveniences necessitated by this shift, as we hope to have the referees present in time for the rescheduled game which takes place at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
