Vandrezzer FC are pleased to announce the signing of attacker Golden Udo-Inyang, who joins from Nigeria National League (NNL) side ABS FC.

Born on 29 April 1998, Golden is a tireless attacker, who is joining VFC after making a strong impression at the Ilorin-based club.

He signs a two-year deal with VFC that would see him stay at the club until 2023.

Twenty three year old Golden can play anywhere across the front 3, using his rapid burst of pace to terrorize defences since he was a teenager. At 16, the Kwara Football Academy product scored five goals for Abia Cometh in seven games shortly after  promotion from the B-Team.

His steller performance as a youth player saw him make interesting transfers to the likes of  Akwa Starlets, Bayelsa United and later ABS FC in the 2019/20 season which was unfortunately truncated.

Golden will now be charged with contributing to VFC's promotion pursuit and could be in line for his competitive debut against Delta Force this weekend after featuring in some of our pre-season games.

"Winning the NNL and gaining promotion to the NPFL is my goal for the season," the Kwara-born player told VFC Media after completing his move.

"I was very happy when I was picked by the club. My family is also happy as they know this is a stepping stone to greater heights.

"Signing me is just the first step, getting into the team is the second step. The third step is making it count, while the fourth step is getting the team to where they want to be."

Golden is one of nine additions to VFC’s squad, ahead of the 2020/2021 season. Welcome onboard Golden.
