Players of Vandrezzer FC have been given a one week break, in order to rest ahead of start of the season’s second stanza.

The Nigeria National League management fixed the mid season break from Saturday April 16th - Friday 29th, when VFC host Giant Brillars at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

The Lions will regroup one week before then, on Saturday April 23, 2022.

Addressing the players on Sunday, coach Henry Makinwa congratulated them on their impressive performance in the 1-1 with Giant Brillars in Enugu, and admonished them to be of good behavior while on the short holiday.

“Well done guys for yesterday’s match. A fantastic display and one vital point. Rest well. Be happy with the family and let us be back on Saturday unfailingly because training starts on Sunday.”

“Please be professional in your dealings, don't abuse food and don't stay late at night. Very importantly, please keep fit.”  Makinwa added.

The Lions finished the first stanza of the season in 6th position on the Group B1 log, with 14 points from eleven games.
