Everything you need to know ahead of VFC’s NNL fixture against local rival Stationery Stores at the Soccer Temple on Saturday.

The Lions of Naija go into this fixture on the back of three consecutive defeats, sitting 11th on Group B1 table with 14 points from 13 matches, 4 points ahead of bottom club and today's opponent, Stores.

VFC will take on Stationery Stores on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Soccer Temple,  Agege Lagos, a home ground shared by both teams.

Fans can watch the game LIVE on VFC TV on our mobile app and on our YouTube Channel.

Defender Godwin Ekpo misses a second straight game after failing to pass a fitness test yesterday. Ekpo also missed last weekend's home game versus 3SC after spraining his knee in training few days before the game.

Midfielder Saheed Obisesan who made his second VFC appearance on Sunday, has bounced back from a back strain and is included in today's squad.

We go into the game looking to bounce back to winning ways after Saturday’s 0-1 loss at home to Shooting Stars.

VFC recorded a 2-0 victory against Stores in their first ever Lagos Derby in March 27. Ekerete Udom and Amos Okoro scored the two goals in the first half to secure three points for the Lions.

In their last three fixtures, Stores have won 1, drawn one and lost one, a 0-1 defeat at Ekiti United last weekend.
