Chief Operating Officer of Vandrezzer FC, Kingsley Ogbonna has paid homage to fans as the club hit 200,000 followers on Facebook this week.

Vandrezzer FC has continued to hit giant strides on all its digital platforms with the live website only just recently launched barely two weeks ago.

Ogbonna believes the fans have been the encouraging factor thus dedicating the feat to them:

"I'm so excited to be part of Vandrezzer family marking this 200,000 followership within a few months of existence as a Professional Football Club. It fills me with a lot of encouragement that our fans are solidly behind us. This is really encouraging.

This is a celebration of our fans. We love you. We thank you and appreciate your support. This journey cannot be complete without you. We are saying a big thank you to our fans".


He further reiterated VFC's philosophy to change the narrative of Nigeria Football for the better with the right strategies:

"This goes ahead to re-enforce our philosophy that with innovation, good quality content, continual fan engagement we can get the fans a solid fan base to support and grow Nigeria Football. We can change the narrative of sports especially football in Nigeria".

He hinted the areas the club is working on for a better fanbase experience moving forward:

"In the coming months, we have prepared a lot. A lot of work is being done as we speak to ensure that the very best of football, football artistry, hospitality, and entertainment that we have promised will continually be delivered. That is the assurance we want to give as a Football club".

It's been eight months of distinction for Vandrezzer FC since inception in September 2019, attracting lots of accolades with its outstanding display of matchday ceremonies, team organization, proper disbursement of information via various media ranging from TV, radio, pictures, videos, live streams, quizzes among others, serving as a leading stride for other clubs to follow.
