It's matchday for us as we engage Joy Cometh FC in our fourth friendly game at the Soccer Temple.

It's been a clean slate for the Lions at our Lagos home ground with a 1-0 victory over Remo stars, being the latest from our list of two victories and one draw in pre-season as we build-up to the start of the NNL 20/21 season.

Our opponents Joy Cometh FC will be engaging us for the second time in 408 days with our first meeting dating back to matchday five of the NNL 19/20 season. Alberico Da Silva and Ekerete Udom were on the score sheets as the Lions ran over the visitors 2-1 on former home soil - Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium.

Brazilian Alberico Da Silva and Ekerete Udom sadly will be missing on the day as they recuperate from injury. Captain, Onyekachi Akakem will also sit out of this encounter for same reason.

Goalkeeper Edwin Daniel will have the opportunity to showcase his saving skills, in goal after a heroic display against Remo Stars but this time around against his former club Joy Cometh FC.
