Vandrezzer FC maintained their 100 percent record at home as they beat Stores FC 2-0 at the Soccer Temple on Saturday.

The Lions of Naija have now won four games at home - against Nilayo FC (1-0), Ekiti United (1-0), Giant Brillars (3-2) and Stores (2-0)

The Game

The visitors got off to an encouraging start as they held their own in the early exchanges as VFC failed to get a shot at goal in the opening 15 minutes.

The game came to life around the 20th minute mark as VFC started to totally dominate, with wing-backs Oloye Felix and Samuel Edoho threatening from open play as they sent in some great deliveries.

Midfielder Anietie Uko was also involved in the tick of action as his long range effort sailed over the bar around the half-hour mark.

The opener finally came in the 35th minute as Udom Ekerette took advantage of a goal mouth scramble to score his second goal of the season.

Attacker Amos Okoro doubled VFC's lead with a classy goal before half-time.

The winger showed great composure, trickery and ball control to slot home his first goal of the campaign.

Coach Alfred Madaki's men consolidated on second spot with the victory and now boast of 14 points from eight games.
