The Nigerian National League (NNL) management has postponed the Week 17 clash between VFC and Rovers FC earlier billed to hold on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

A letter addressed to all NNL clubs management dated May 31, 2021, and signed by the league body's C.O.O Emmanuel Adesanya reads:

"This is to inform you that following the myriad of complaints received from clubs on movement of their players and officials to match venues for the midweek, it has become necessary to place all Midweek fixtures of June 2nd and 3rd, 2021 on hold. A new date for the matches shall be communicated soonest.

Meanwhile all weekend matches shall hold as scheduled..."

VFC were billed to host Rovers FC on Wednesday at the Soccer Temple Agege, before setting out to play Ekiti United on Saturday June 6, at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti.
