VFCTV has partnered Stream Media Entertainment (SME) to livestream the Lagos Legends Football Re-Union Fiesta, a football showpiece that will bring together legends of Nigerian football on one pitch, for the first time since many of them hung up their playing boots. 

The highly anticipated event which would be broadcast by Stream Media & Entertainment, an ace media outfit, will air on both VFCTV (via the Vandrezzer FC mobile application), and Stream Media Entertainment YouTube page. 

The event aims to celebrate Nigeria's independence with the beautiful game of football, and will be held at the NITEL Training Ground in Oshodi, Lagos on Sunday October 3, 2021. The players will be grouped into four separate teams and compete in a round-robin tournament, to produce a winning team. 

The star-studded line up includes Augustine Eguavoen, Taribo West, Victor Ikpeba, Peter Rufai, Sunday Oliseh, David Dosu, Jonathan Akpoborie, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Yusuf Ayila, Tarila Okorowanta, 

Akeem Ishola, Obido, Alphonsus Akahon, Daniel Alabra, Diepreye Teibowei, and Patrick Udoh. 

Other football greats like Fatai Amao, Lukman Oshun, Lucky Okegbe, Henry Nwosu, Seun Osinyemi, Abiodun Obafemi, Hakeem Ogunlade, Franklin Howard, Benson Baby Edema, and Godwin Obinyan are also expected to feature in the tournament. 

The players roll call also has Godwin Opara, Demola Fetuga, Mba Agbai, Festus Odinni, Monday Onyechi, Monday Kanu, Gani Akanni, Waidi Akanni, Taju Ajide, Taju Disu, Tunde Disu, Mike Dominic, Bremna Alada, Jide Oguntuase, Taye Oloyede, Jide Oloyede, and Dimeji Lawal. 

A series of special guests are billed to grace the event including top government dignitaries and football administrators, some of whom will also feature as guest players.

Broadcast of the event starts by 09:00 Hrs GMT on VFCTV and SME YouTube page. 

The Lagos Legends Reunion Fiesta is organized by the Lagos Legends Club.
