Acting VFC Coach Alfred Madaki knows the size of challenge his team will face in Nnewi this afternoon.

Madaki said after the team's only training session on Friday that his boys are fired up.

"The team is in high spirit, and are looking forward to a good result tomorrow.

"We go into every game with a mindset to win, that's the standard of this club and we are here to win. We might not know much of our opponent but we believe they are a very good side to play in this league."

Midfielder Christopher Lolo scored Vandrezzer FC's first goal of the 2021 NNL season in the 1-0 home win against Nilayo last weekend. The win moves us to third on the league table with four points.

A win today takes VFC to the summit of Group B1, ahead of the top two clash between 3SC & Go Round on Sunday.

Fans won't be allowed into the stadium for the game but can follow the broadcast on VFCTV via the VFC mobile app which is available on Play Store and iOS.
