Anas Hassan has joined us on a two-year contract till 2023.

The central midfielder joins VFC from amateur league side Green Light FC, having previously played for Jega United and Wonder Boys FC all in the Nigeria Nationwide League.

In his first interview with VFCTV, Anas says he is intrigued with the facilities and system of football at VFC.

“It's a thing of joy and I am grateful to almighty Allah for connecting me with this wonderful family. I have heard a lot about VFC and I've also seen for myself too. Definitely, I am amazed by the system of football they are practicing here.

“What else do you need as a footballer if not quality training with experienced coaches, good facilities which they've got etc. My experience while choosing this as a career hasn't been funny at all but knowing where I am emerging from, I just have to put in all my best to get to the top.

“It's my biggest achievement so far, my family, friends and well-wishers are super proud of me and I have always vowed to make them proud. it's a great feeling. Thank you VFC. May Almighty Allah bless you.”
